Get the Kids taking action in the kitchen by teaching them some fun and easy recipes while reinforcing the Warrior Lessons they already learned.
You could always play a couple of the video’s as a refresher. Get the kids sharing what they learned, what they liked and disliked about eating healthy.
Coach them on how to overcome some of the obstacles they face. The more involved the Kids are with food in the kitchen, the more engaged they will be about their own healthy choices.
Below are some fun ideas you may want to incorporate into your Warrior UP Party:
Have appropriate space to set up stations for making recipes.
Create groups of 3-4 kids and 1 Adult
Use kid friendly knives
Make kid friendly recipes with 5 ingredients or less
Have prizes for answering questions correctly. ( ask questions pertaining to the Video Warrior Lessons)
Give Warrior Bucks out everytime someone answers a questions or shares. At the end of the Party, have gifts that can be purchased with the Warrior Bucks.
Paint Warrior faces to get into the spirit! (be sure it is non-toxic face paint)
Dress up - have the kids come dressed as Warriors.
Invite special guests to come in and co-host with you. Health Professionals who can contribute to the fun and education.
